Seasons & tournaments

Group your games so the Games list stays sane and analytics roll up the way you think about your year.

Why bother

Both are optional — you can just log games. But once you’ve played more than a handful, grouping keeps the Games list navigable and makes analytics meaningful: a season is your year (or club vs college), and a tournament is a single event within it. A game can belong to both.

Seasons

  • Open Seasons from the team nav and add one — e.g. 2026 Club.
  • When you create a game, pick its Season so it’s grouped.
  • On the Games list, the Season filter narrows to one season at a time.
  • Season analytics roll up every game in the season (a Premium surface — see Reading your stats & Insights). Your post-game Insights also compare a game to the rest of its season.

Tournaments

  • Open Tournaments and add one with a name, location, dates, and format (round robin, pool play, bracket, or mixed).
  • Assign games to the tournament when you create them.
  • Give each game a round label — Pool A, Quarterfinal, or a Custom round. The tournament page groups its games by round into a readable schedule.
  • Per-tournament analytics roll up the whole event (Premium).

Wrapping up

Finished with a tournament? Archive it from its page to keep the active list tidy — the data stays. (On the free plan, viewing archived tournaments is a Premium feature; the Hide archived toggle stays on.) To archive a whole team at season’s end, see team admin.
