Who we are
Swilly is operated by Breakside Labs LLC, a Florida company. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and what choices you have. It is written in plain English; it is not legal advice.
What we collect
Account data — your email, display name, and password hash — to sign you in. Team data you create — roster, games, events, points, tournaments, and seasons. Billing data through Stripe (we never see card numbers; Stripe sends us subscription status). Operational data such as sign-in timestamps and error logs, and product-analytics data about how features are used (see Third parties we use).
Player information
Teams add players to a roster, including names and the stats logged during games. This information is provided by the account holder who runs the team, not collected from the players themselves. Some players may be minors; the account holder confirms they have any consent required to add it. A team owner can edit or delete a player's information at any time, or email us to request its removal.
Why we collect it
To run the product you signed up for. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers. Team administrators control whether team statistics are private, shared with team members, or made publicly visible through features provided by Swilly.
Aggregated and de-identified data
We create aggregated and de-identified statistics from activity across teams to understand usage and improve Swilly. This data cannot identify you, a player, or a team, and is not personal data. We may use and retain it — including for benchmarks, research, and marketing — even after you delete your account.
Third parties we use
Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Stripe (billing), Resend (transactional email — invites and payment notices), Sentry (error diagnostics), and PostHog (product analytics). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies for your sign-in session and your saved theme preference. We also use first-party product analytics (PostHog) and error diagnostics (Sentry) to understand how Swilly is used and to fix problems. These providers may collect technical information such as device type, browser information, IP address, pages visited, and feature usage. We don't run advertising networks, sell your data, or use cross-site advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
Account data until you delete your account from the Account screen. Team data until the owner deletes it. Backups may persist for up to 30 days after deletion. Aggregated and de-identified data may be kept indefinitely.
Your rights and choices
You can access, correct, delete, and export your data from the Account screen, which exposes display-name and email changes, password reset, full account deletion, and a data download. You can also manage which emails we send, or unsubscribe from any non-essential email with one click. Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights under applicable law. We honor reasonable access and deletion requests regardless of location. For anything else, email contact@swilly.team.
Where your data is stored
Swilly is operated from the United States, and your data is stored on US-based infrastructure. The service is intended for users in the United States and is not directed at people in the EU or UK. If you choose to use Swilly from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
Data security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Swilly is not directed to children under 16, and account holders must be at least 16. We don't knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Player information — which may include minors — is added by the account holder, who confirms they have any consent required; contact us to have it removed.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we'll surface it in-app the next time you sign in.
