Edit, undo, and fix mistakes

Three ways to recover when something goes wrong mid-game.

Undo Last

Always one tap. Lives in the score header (top of the page) and also in the event log (right column on tablet, below the logger on phone). It removes the most recent event, rolls back any score change it triggered, and puts the disc back where it was, so possession returns to the right side too. It only touches the last play, not the line.

Fix a wrong player on the line

Wrong person on mid-point? Tap Sub in the point banner and choose Wrong player. They come off with no credit for the point and the right player goes on. The Injury option is different on purpose: it keeps the player coming off credited, since they actually played part of the point.

Edit an event in place

Open the event log and tap any event. The row expands into a small editor where you can change:

  1. Stat type (e.g. flipping a “completion” to “throwaway” if you misread the result)
  2. Player and receiver
  3. Throw zone and catch zone
  4. Defense type for a D (Layout / Hand block / Foot block / Poach block / Interception / Knockdown)

Hit Save and the analytics update across every tab. The pass-type inference runs automatically after you change either zone, so passing % and the heatmap stay accurate.

Delete an event

Same expanded editor. Tap Delete and confirm. If the deleted event was a goal that closed a point, the point’s score is unwound and the point becomes re-openable.

Correct the final score directly

Sometimes the score on the field disagrees with what the events sum to (a goal got missed, the captain forgot to tap something). Tap Edit next to the score in the header to override it manually. The events don’t change — only the scoreboard.

The box score follows the plays

There is no editing the box-score numbers directly, because every total is added up from the plays. Fix the play that is wrong and the box score, the leaderboards, and the season tables all recompute with it. From a finished game’s summary, the Edit plays to fix the box score link drops you straight into the editable event log.

Bulk fixes after the game

Mark a game as final from the Games list when you’re done logging. Need to make edits afterwards? Tap Reopen — the game flips back to “in progress” and the event log becomes editable again.
